What should education consist of?
What we call education begins at the ages of 5-7 and continues until the age of 20-30; the fundamental purpose of education should be to teach life, living, and how to survive, but currently, education consists only of reading books, doing homework, and going to and from school. Until 100 years ago, education was only received by the nobility, whereas now it is mandatory for people from all walks of life; however, because everyone receives education, the quality of education is constantly declining. With the education that everyone receives, all people become the same; they dress the same, eat the same, and give the same answers to the same problems. The root of this problem is that states see all people as the same and do not differentiate between talented students and untalented students. Although some private schools make this distinction today, this separation cannot yet be fully implemented in public schools. Students are not seeking the fundamental purpose of education—the ability to survive, learn, and solve problems—in schools, but rather on social media and the internet. Today, students who should be thinking to solve a problem want to solve it by watching videos on the internet. In summary, education should not be about teaching everyone the same thing, but about providing lessons to each student according to their interests.
Until what age is a child educated?
Humans are born, they live, they grow, they develop, and they close their eyes to life. So, in which phase are we open to development, and with which phase should we improve ourselves? A baby begins to perceive and learn from the age of 5; research shows that age 5 is considered the transition from the infancy period to the childhood period. Whether it is a boy or a girl, the age should be 5 so that the child can learn immediately and start their journey in life earlier. In the first days of school, children who do not know anyone or anything face difficulties, but these difficulties prepare them for even harder days ahead. Education that starts at age 5 continues until almost age 30; during this time, children get to know themselves, develop, and learn. Even though parents say it is too early to send a child to school, research shows that the rate of development is higher in children who start life early, and their success rate is at a visible level.
